For this project I have choosen to work on the Prison Break series show.
So the idea is Prison break as a Prison Officer character with letters. The letter o could be the light looking for 5 prisioners that could be each letter of break B - R - E - A - K
Running around the screen.
Because the letter s makes a organic form I could turn her into handcuffs at some point?
Use that origami as a main character which is the plain maybe?

However, I think using lines to create graphic 'prison bars/search lights' to trap a (simple/2D) character (or letters) would also work Take a look at the animation called 'Proportion' on the Maya FAQ page (Tutorial website).
