Rope is one of the best films from Alfred Hitchcock, is in the top 1 position in the table in terms of confidence by the Britain director.
Its also brilliant, because Hitchcock is master in suspense, that's why he was one of the most popular well-known artists in this genre of all the time sort as a legend.

In this film he was able to switch create huge and long shoots creating sort of tension and realism between actions and features, starting with a murder and ending with gunshots.

Its original how he can keep the attention from the audience focusing on the characters huge living room and incredible view, dressing them with glamour clothes and charm.

Its obvious that there is a intimate relationship between the murderers Brandon Shaw and Phillip Morgan however its not 100 per cent sure that they are a couple or not.
Some people believe that Alfred Hitchcock got inspired in a real story of a murder to a 14 years old Kid in Chicago.

ReplyDeleteDon't forget that you need to support your own ideas by using quotes from other film critics; so for example, when you talk about the 10 minute takes, you could have used a quote from the Guardian article that you have looked at, like this -
He also have takes for periods of up to 10 minutes roll length, and to hide the cuts, the camera "had to duck behind an actor's back, or a piece of furniture, to "invisible" cut from one piece of film to the next. (Hutchinson, 2012)
You need to have at least 3 quotes per review...
